Job Title: Finance Manager
Job Purpose: The Finance Manager will provide financial, administrative, and clerical support to the Finance Department
The role of Finance Manager include:
- End-to-end Financial Management: responsible for the entire spectrum of financial operations, including month end and year end journal entries.
- Prepare month end accounts highlighting and discussing variances with MD
- Financial reporting including cash projections, revenue and expenditure comparison
- Annual budgets and variance analysis
- Ensure accurate recording and classification of all revenue streams BS reconciliations
- Monitor cash levels to ensure payment runs can be processed in a timely manner to avoid disruption to wider business.
- Responsible for ERP/stock system integration within accounting system
- Management of the company clothing allowance scheme
- Liaise with the payroll provider to ensure updates are processed in good time (joiners, leavers, deductions, pay adjustments etc); arrange approval & prepare payments of net salaries.
- HMRC reporting: VAT and P11D submission
- Management of the various account’s inboxes
- Keeping up to date with the latest systems to facilitate workflow within the team: invoices, bills and department approval automations.
- Working cross-functionally to support production and other departments.
- Undertaking any other duties, which may be requested by the MD
Skills and Qualifications:
- Part-qualified or recently qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant
- Degree in Finance / Economics / Business / Accounting preferred but not required.
- 2yr minimum Experience working within a finance department.
- Experience working with Xero and Zedonk preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables.
- Able to manage and prioritise own workload in a dynamic, high-growth environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
